1. How do we set our own file names in YESDAS-2?

You can modify the names of data files YESDAS-2 produces in a Yesdas Manager channel profile, or manually via MS-Windows Explorer. However, we recommend that you stick with the default naming conventions that YESDAS Manager uses. If you do decide to modify file names after they are downloaded, do not change the .xmd file extension.
